Which is the best web hosting company in India
» gettit answered...I'm not sure it matters much where a hosting company is located. We use Media Temple and are very happy with it.
They have a 'Grid-Server' service that spreads the load over many individual servers that share the same storage subsystem. So it avoids the problems of one busy site on a shared server throwing off everyone's resources. It's about $20 a month, and I believe you can stack them if you need more resources in a month.
Rackspace owns a company called Mosso that offers a similar service that is a flat $100 a month. I would expect a higher level of service with them, as Rackspace in general is known for it.
There are a lot of hosts out there, but these both offer very high storage and transfer amounts for the cost. If they specifically need to be in India maybe someone else can answer.
