I need the cheapest accomodation in London over the Christmas period
» morganm answered...OK, keep in mind we are talking cheap here, not quality necessarily--
In order to be safe, I checked for availability from the Friday prior to the Saturday after Christmas.
Two truly inexpensive choices--
1. Is the Days Hotel London North, through gtahotels.com. Roughly $50 USD per night and listed as 2 stars. The downside is it is 10 miles from central London.
2. Is a hostel, called Generator. Roughly the same price, through venere.com and very close to the center of London.
I have not been to London myself. I would imagine a local could find cheaper accommodations, but over the Internet, reservable rooms, I think these two are solid bets.
For more, I would use kayak.com and check your specific dates, perhaps more will open up if it's just a few days.
